I was diagnosed with Tinnitus almost 25 years ago. Now I'm in my 50s and am wearing hearing aids. Have Tinnitus in both ears. Went to my Audiologist recently to have my hearing checked again. He serviced my hearing aids and I was wearing them in the opposite ears for 2 days. Never checked them!!!!!!!!! Now my hearing is much worse and so is the Tinnitus (going on 7 wks now). Slightly improved in the past week, but only just after being to Bio Energist...Dr put me on Steroids, no good. Then he prescribed Antidepressants and Diuretics. Antidepressents nearly drove it mad in one ear...Now he has me on Ginkgo Biloba...Any help out there, please

Do you know what induced your tinnitus? What it through going to loud parties, clubs? Did you have a fall or neck injury, did you have an infection or virus?

None of the above. Don't know what the cause is. With the recent improvement, I had another issue and the Dr put me on Klaram (clarithromycin). Please read the leaflet inclosed with these tablets, as this cause hearing to go down temporarily and also ringing in the ears, as a result I'm back to the beginning. Also can't travel on aerplane any more. Not worth it!!!!!!!!!!!
