I wanted to ask if any one here tried pscilocybin to help .
I ask because it was found to help cluster heacaches ( one of the other woes reputedly helped by tms ) and because I know someone who tried it that was cured themselves.
Now Im not an expert, but Its interesting to not the relationship here between the two and what might turn up if an organisation like MAPS
( http://www.maps.org/ )might be involved.
I know my friend also used " intra cranial " injections which he got specifically ( based on his own theory it was somehow connected to the fascia )
beforehand , so it may not have been just the mushrooms, but the mushrooms certainly were the turning point.
This person I might was no a reg user off entheogens, but like many here, was driven to the point of desperation and in the end took the dip.
Apart from the odd episodes so far hes been overjoyed with the results , and its already been 3 years.
Unfortuantely I havent tried it myself , as Im still bit reluctant , though increasingly getting worse - its just pity there was no research done to examine it further.

I’ve heard that Mushrooms are quite week in strength and that you have to eat a lot of them to get the desired psychedelic effect. You *might* be able to test your friend's theory out by eating only a few at a time, but speak to a specialist / professional first.
I have been wondering whether smoking cannabis would have any effect on Tinnitus.
Many people use it for joint pain and arthritis.
I used it in the past for recreational purposes when I was about 14 to 16, but have not tried it consciously thinking about my Tinnitus. At the very least it might help me laugh at it.

Well, that last time I tried pot with some friends I didnt have tinnitus to really see or myself.
I read about that portable tms zapper and thought it was meant to be available for use now , but dont see any update on the site in spite of the claims it worked .

I was holding out for this and considering even going over to the US but I cant get a response at all on whats going on , does any one know ?

Yes, my friend did take it lot - but it turns out it was not mushrooms but what they commonly call " philospher stones " or used too when they sold on the uk.
Apparently he grew these things in jar for 6 months , tried a few and thought they didnt work after waiting so took the whole jar.
As you can imagine , the experince itself was not great and according to him - at least until the end left him
in very bad pedicament of not knowing if he was permanently ( dissociated from himself )
Of course peoples threshold and experinces with trips can vary greatly too , and in the end it was worth it it woud seem if not for the anxiety , fear it induced at the time .
Tough choice , 3 hours of that or a lifetime of tinnitus / anosima and worse.. when you look at it that way sometimes its seems almost clear what route I would take.
